At PCS/General Physics, we are committed to providing top quality engineering and training consulting services to the electric power producers industry. We are a team of highly skilled engineering consultants with extensive experience in the areas of power plant performance, training and maintenance management. PCS/General Physics specializes in engineering support, training, and software products that are directed toward increasing plant performance and availability, optimizing manpower usage, and reducing overall operating costs.

Members of our staff have been responsible for developing, implementing or supporting performance test programs at numerous power producers. We have performed numerous PTC-6 level turbine cycle performance tests, PTC 4.1 level boiler performance tests, and ATC-105 level cooling tower capability tests. We have also performed numerous tests on major power plant components and managed vibration monitoring and analysis programs for all types of rotating equipment. In addition, we have developed and implemented performance monitoring systems in a number of power plants and established an NIST traceable standards calibration laboratory to support these testing and monitoring activities. We have experience with broad range computerized maintenance management systems and have supported the selection and implementation of these systems at several plant sites.
