Course Objective (4 1/2 days)
At the completion of this course, it is expected that each student will be able to meet the following goals:
Explain the principles of electricity production and power plant operations
Discuss basic electricity and electrical circuits
Explain basic plant science principles
Explain basic water and steam principles
Discuss basic power plant systems
Presentations will include detailed illustrations, drawings, and actual pictures of plant equipment, mockups and cutaways of various items and assorted demonstrations.
Who Should Attend?
This course is designed for new maintenance and operating personnel as well as for
seasoned operations personnel needing a refresher.
